Congratulations to our friends at Camden Redevelopment Agency (CRA), City of Camden, New Jersey, on receiving the 2022 Region 2 Phoenix Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for their Cramer Hill Waterfront Park Redevelopment Project on the site of the former Harrison Avenue Landfill. See this previous issue of our newsletter for more details on the project.

This is CRA’s second Phoenix Award for the 86-acre waterfront site, one of the most high-profile brownfield sites in Camden, having received the 2015 award for the Salvation Army Kroc Center Redevelopment Project.

In addition to CRA, congratulations are also due to all the project partners, including the NJDEP, NJEDA, USEPA Region 2, Camden County, the City of Camden. Camden Community Partnership, CDM Smith, TRC, and the team here at BRS!
