For the past couple years, BRS has been making donations (delivered this year by Prinicpal Michele Christina and Summer Intern Desmond Nieves, pictured here) of laptops, peripherals, and phones to Hopeworks, a nonprofit organization with locations in Camden, NJ and the Kensington neighborhood in Philadelphia, PA. With a focus on skill development, real-world job experience, and trauma-informed care, Hopeworks propels young adults into long-term living wage careers that put them on the path for healing and financial stability. The organization provides paid technical training in high-demand skills along with professional development coaching.
